This article highlights key points raised during ECRI's May 18, 2005, audio conference, "Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) for Tracking Medical Devices: Planning for Today and Tomorrow." The conference gave attendees the opportunity to hear the experiences of two healthcare professionals managing RFID pilot programs at healthcare facilities.
