Abstract
A case of nosocomial pneumonia caused by Flavobacter meningosepticum (FM) is reported. The genus has been identified as causes of neonatal meningitis and treatment is difficult because of its resistance to many antibiotics. Recently several outbreaks of FM respiratory infections in the intensive care unit have been reported.
