The vascular tree in the juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma: a report of 10 cases.

Nasopharyngeal angiofibromas have a characteristic angiographic appearance that will allow operative diagnosis without the dangers of biopsy. Angiography shows the vascularization of the tumour and is of great value to determine the extact extension of the tumour. Subtraction technique is essential. The routine skull-base view is imperative to determine if it is necessary to perform a bilateral angiography.
