Abstract

Appendicovesical fistulae represent 5% of all intestinal vesical fistulae. Usually a known cause is appendicitis, cecal diverticulitis, cystadenocarcinoma of the appendix and carcinoid tumors. We report the 2nd case, to our knowledge, where a benign tumor is a possible reason for the formation of an appendicovesical fistula.
