Abstract

Acinic cell carcinoma is a rare, low-grade malignant salivary gland neoplasm. Approximately, 20% of patients experience local recurrence and 10% distant metastasis, often many years after initial presentation. We present a case of widespread cutaneous metastasis from acinic cell carcinoma arising in a 59-year-old woman with a history of acinic cell carcinoma of the parotid gland 20 years prior to her cutaneous disease. To our knowledge, is the first report of widespread cutaneous metastasis from acinic cell carcinoma.

摘要

腺泡细胞癌是一种罕见的低度恶性唾液腺肿瘤。大约20%的患者会出现局部复发，10%会发生远处转移，通常在初次就诊多年后出现。我们报告一例59岁女性发生广泛皮肤转移的腺泡细胞癌病例，该患者在出现皮肤病变20年前有腮腺腺泡细胞癌病史。据我们所知，这是腺泡细胞癌发生广泛皮肤转移的首例报告。
