Abstract

Changes of succinic dehydrogenase, adenosinetriphosphatase, alkaline and acid phosphatase in rat kidney, during 6 months after a whole-body 800 r X-ray exposure were studied. Temporary but long-lasting activation of the histoenzymatic reactions accompanied by partly reversible diffusion of enzymes related to the dystrophic and restoring postirradiation renal changes were observed.
