Abstract

The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of Cu(2+) impurities in Co(nicotinamide)(2)(H(2)O)(4)(2) single crystals have been studied at ambient temperature in three mutually perpendicular planes. The angular variation of the spectra shows that the Cu(2+) ion substitutes the Co(2+) site in the lattice. The EPR spectra of Cu(2+) ions are characteristic of tetragonally elongated octahedral site. The spin-Hamiltonien parameters were obtained from the single crystal EPR analysis. The ground-state wave function of Cu(2+) ion in the lattice has been constructed.

在室温下,在三个相互垂直的平面上研究了[Co(烟酰胺)₂(H₂O)₄](糖精)₂单晶中Cu(Ⅱ)杂质的电子顺磁共振谱。谱图的角度变化表明Cu(Ⅱ)离子取代了晶格中的Co(Ⅱ)位点。Cu(Ⅱ)离子的电子顺磁共振谱具有四方拉长八面体位点的特征。通过单晶电子顺磁共振分析获得了自旋哈密顿参数。构建了晶格中Cu(Ⅱ)离子的基态波函数。
