Abstract
The article gives an overview of various aspects of sexual abuse of female and also male children and adolescents in their families. Exposure, frequency and definition and also questions regarding the psychic consequences of sexual abuse are discussed. Special psychodynamic aspects in the families and therapeutic possibilities are also dealt with.
