Malignancy was diagnosed cytologically in a 62 year old female with exudative pericarditis. Despite extensive diagnostical procedures the primary source of the neoplasm could not be defined. After 18 months the patient died. Autopsy disclosed tuberculous pericarditis. The authors discussed the differential diagnosis between malignant and tuberculous pericarditis and the reasons for this diagnostical error.
一名62岁患有渗出性心包炎的女性经细胞学诊断为恶性肿瘤。尽管进行了广泛的诊断程序，但肿瘤的原发部位仍无法确定。18个月后患者死亡。尸检发现为结核性心包炎。作者讨论了恶性心包炎和结核性心包炎的鉴别诊断以及出现这一诊断错误的原因。
