Abstract
In early investigated embryos of stage 13th cephalic portion of the neural tube shows three distinct layers (zones). Between the germinal and intermediate zones there is thick cellular layer forming so-called migration zone. This zone is widest in early stages and it narrows with the advancement of the development.
