Life at medical school is filled with books containing enormous amounts of information. The ultimate goal after reading these thick books is to create an overview of the complex human body. The books are mostly packed with information that you have to remember in detail and are written in a way which is not intentionally funny. Sometimes, however, a funny description pops up out of nowhere. This article summarizes some of these examples of funny descriptions of internal organs and diseases. It contains only highlights and there are plenty more similar examples in medical textbooks.
