To find the risk factors of shallow anterior chamber following hypotony after Ahmed glaucoma valve implant.
The retrospective study was carried out with patients who had postoperative intraocular pressure 5 mm Hg or below at 2 consecutive visits after Ahmed glaucoma valve implant surgery. They were divided into 2 groups by the depth of anterior chamber and various factors were compared including age, sex, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma type, previous intraocular surgery, preoperative visual acuity, refractive error, lens status, corneal thickness, endothelial cell count, axial length, preoperative intraocular pressure, number of preoperative glaucoma medications, use of carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, gonioscopic examination results, and use of ligation suture.
Groups with younger age (P=0.041), myopia (P=0.003), and fewer previous intraocular surgeries (P=0.000) showed higher risk and partial ligation of the tube (P=0.000) showed protective effect of shallow anterior chamber by hypotony after Ahmed valve implant.
When performing Ahmed glaucoma valve implant surgery in patients with more risk factors of shallow anterior chamber, preventive procedures and proper management can improve the success rate of the implant and reduce its complications.
探寻艾哈迈德青光眼引流阀植入术后低眼压性浅前房的危险因素。
对艾哈迈德青光眼引流阀植入术后连续两次随访时眼压≤5 mmHg的患者进行回顾性研究。根据前房深度将患者分为两组，并比较年龄、性别、糖尿病、高血压、青光眼类型、既往眼内手术史、术前视力、屈光不正、晶状体状态、角膜厚度、内皮细胞计数、眼轴长度、术前眼压、术前青光眼药物使用数量、碳酸酐酶抑制剂的使用、房角镜检查结果以及结扎缝线的使用等各种因素。
年龄较小（P = 0.041）、近视（P = 0.003）、既往眼内手术较少（P = 0.000）的患者发生浅前房风险较高，而引流管部分结扎（P = 0.000）对艾哈迈德引流阀植入术后低眼压性浅前房具有保护作用。
在具有较多浅前房危险因素的患者中进行艾哈迈德青光眼引流阀植入手术时，采取预防措施并进行适当管理可提高植入成功率并减少并发症。
