Carcinosarcoma of the urinary bladder is a very rare neoplasm accounting for less than 0,05% of urothelial tumours is a biphasic malignant neoplasm with only 79 cases reported in the English literature. Histologically, it exhibits morphologic and/or immunohistochemical evidence of epithelial and mesenchymal differentiation with the presence or absence of heterologous elements. It usually involves aged adults after 60 years and it has a poor prognosis.
We report three cases with an emphasis on unusual histologic features.
Three male patients age 76 to 86 years were found to have polypoid masses in the urinary bladder. In all cases, microscopic examination revealed biphasic neoplasms with distinct mesenchymal and epithelial components. The two first cases were remarkable respectively by the presence of chondrosarcomatous and osteosarcomatous components.
膀胱癌肉瘤是一种非常罕见的肿瘤，占尿路上皮肿瘤的比例不到0.05%，是一种双相恶性肿瘤，英文文献中仅报道了79例。从组织学上看，它表现出上皮和间充质分化的形态学和/或免疫组化证据，伴有或不伴有异源性成分。它通常发生于60岁以上的老年人，预后较差。
我们报告三例病例，重点关注其不寻常的组织学特征。
三名年龄在76至86岁之间的男性患者被发现膀胱内有息肉样肿物。在所有病例中，显微镜检查均显示为具有明显间充质和上皮成分的双相肿瘤。前两例分别以存在软骨肉瘤成分和骨肉瘤成分而引人注目。
