The Group of the Writing Physicians whose purpose was to create links between physicians aware of the importance of medical humanism was founded in 1949. It is made up with several kinds of members according to their medical and literary orientation and is proud of illustrious sponsorships. Its activity is important and diversified: national by allocations for literary prizes to works in French language or diverse meetings (literary matinees, book salons, Medec, gala dinners and publication of a bulletin) and international by its participation to the World Union of Writing Physicians.
写作医师组织成立于1949年，其宗旨是在意识到医学人文主义重要性的医师之间建立联系。该组织根据成员的医学和文学倾向分为几种类型，并且为有杰出的赞助而感到自豪。其活动丰富多样且意义重大：在国内，通过为法语作品颁发文学奖或举办各种会议（文学午宴、书展、医学活动、晚宴以及发布公告）来开展活动；在国际上，则通过参与世界写作医师联盟来进行活动。
