Monofunctionalized alkylimido derivatives of hexamolybdate, (Bu(4)N)(2)[Mo(6)O(18)( identical withN-R)] (R = methyl, Me; ethyl, Et; n-propyl, n-Pr; i-propyl, i-Pr; n-butyl, n-Bu; t-butyl, t-Bu; cyclohexyl, Cy; n-hexyl, Hex; and n-octadecyl, Ode), have been prepared in high purity and good yield by the reaction of Bu(4)N[alpha-Mo(8)O(26)] with appropriate aliphatic amine hydrochlorides in anhydrous acetonitrile, using N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) as the dehydrating agent. Eight compounds have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and all compounds have been studied with (1)H-NMR, IR, UV-vis, ESI mass spectrometry and cyclic voltammetry. A structural and (1)H-NMR study show beta hydrogen atoms of those alkylimido derivatives of hexamolybdate have strong Brønsted acidity compared to the hydrogen atoms in other positions.
六钼酸的单官能化烷基亚胺衍生物,(Bu(4)N)(2)[Mo(6)O(18)(≡N-R)](R = 甲基,Me;乙基,Et;正丙基,n-Pr;异丙基,i-Pr;正丁基,n-Bu;叔丁基,t-Bu;环己基,Cy;正己基,Hex;以及正十八烷基,Ode),已通过Bu(4)N[α-Mo(8)O(26)]与适当的脂肪族胺盐酸盐在无水乙腈中反应,使用N,N'-二环己基碳二亚胺(DCC)作为脱水剂,以高纯度和良好产率制备得到。通过单晶X射线衍射分析测定了八种化合物,并且所有化合物都通过(1)H-NMR、IR、UV-vis、ESI质谱和循环伏安法进行了研究。结构和(1)H-NMR研究表明,与其他位置的氢原子相比,那些六钼酸烷基亚胺衍生物的β氢原子具有较强的布朗斯特酸度。
