Diagnosis and treatment of ocular melanomas.

Ocular melanomas pose a serious threat to both sight and survival. In recent years, new approaches to their diagnosis and treatment have been developed. While these have, in many instances, preserved patients' vision, overall survival has remained unaltered. These new approaches will be discussed together with an overview of current research.
