Abstract

The effect of dietary sorbitol on the performance of broilers was investigated. Male and female broilers were given a control diet or a sorbitol diet (100 g/kg diet) ad libitum from 29 to 57 d of age. 2. Body weight gain, food intake, food efficiency and the ME values of the diets were not significantly different. Absolute and relative weights of abdominal fat were significantly reduced in birds given the sorbitol diet. 3. Compared to the control diet, the diet containing sorbitol lowered the serum glucose, total cholesterol and very low density lipoprotein concentrations.

研究了日粮山梨醇对肉鸡生产性能的影响。从29日龄至57日龄，给雄性和雌性肉鸡随意提供对照日粮或山梨醇日粮（日粮中含100 g/kg山梨醇）。2. 体重增加、采食量、饲料效率和日粮的代谢能值没有显著差异。采食山梨醇日粮的鸡腹部脂肪的绝对重量和相对重量显著降低。3. 与对照日粮相比，含山梨醇的日粮降低了血清葡萄糖、总胆固醇和极低密度脂蛋白的浓度。
