[Primary urethral cancer in the female: a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge].

Primary carcinoma of the urethra in women is extremely rare and associated with non-specific symptoms of the lower urinary tract, the vagina and the pelvic floor. On the basis of four case reports, the frequent delay in diagnosis is presented and the therapeutic course is outlined.
