A mastoid osteoma causing intracranial complications. A case report.

A case report of a mastoid sinus osteoma with intracranial complications is presented. This is the first report of a mastoid osteoma causing intracranial complications. The tumour is one of the paranasal osteoma group. It produced displacement and compression of the posterior fossa structures. The patient was operated on by means of a combined intra- and extradural approach.
