Abstract

The socioeconomic strategy and some scientific aspects in the management of exudative age related macular degeneration (AMD) have changed since the last publication on preferred practice pattern. Furthermore new drugs are tested in clinical trials. Consequently it seems reasonable to re-evaluate the recommendations for the treatment of exudative AMD.
