Abstract
The authors report their experience about 42 latissimus dorsi used in the maxillo-facial reconstruction of 40 patients. After a brief historic and anatomic description, the operative technique used by the authors is detailed with the solution for the presented problems. The discussion of the advantages and the disadvantages of this flap ends the paper.
