Endoscope-assisted partial-superficial parotidectomy is a feasible method for treatment of benign parotid superficial lobe tumors located at the anterior or the inferior of the auricular lobule. The main advantage of this procedure is that the small operative scar resulted in improved cosmetic results.
This study evaluated the feasibility of endoscope-assisted partial parotidectomy through two small skin incisions.
Thirty cases with benign parotid superficial lobe tumors with a diameter < 30 mm located at the anterior or the inferior of the auricular lobule underwent endoscope-assisted partial-superficial parotidectomy via retrograde approach through two small skin incisions.
All 30 operations were successfully performed endoscopically. All the patients were satisfied with the cosmetic results. Only three patients had transient facial paresis and recovered in 1-2 months. The endoscopic surgery lasted for 106.48+/-12.62 min. There was no tumor recurrence during the follow-up after 26-50 months.
内镜辅助部分浅叶腮腺切除术是治疗位于耳垂前或耳垂下方的腮腺浅叶良性肿瘤的一种可行方法。该手术的主要优点是手术瘢痕小，美容效果好。
本研究评估通过两个小皮肤切口进行内镜辅助部分腮腺切除术的可行性。
30例直径<30mm、位于耳垂前或耳垂下方的腮腺浅叶良性肿瘤患者，通过两个小皮肤切口经逆行入路接受内镜辅助部分浅叶腮腺切除术。
所有30例手术均在内镜下成功完成。所有患者对美容效果满意。仅3例患者出现短暂性面瘫，1 - 2个月后恢复。内镜手术持续时间为106.48±12.62分钟。随访26 - 50个月期间无肿瘤复发。
