The integrated band intensities for several of the CO(2) combination bands in the 1-2-micro region have been obtained using the method of self-broadening. Measurements were made for pressures ranging from 10-50 atm, path lengths from 0.44-100 cm, and effective spectral bandwidths from 1-2 cm(-1). The reported band intensities are A(20 degrees 1) = 0.33 +/- 0.02, A(12 degrees 1) = 1.01 +/- 0.05, A(04 degrees 1) = 0.22 +/- 0.01, A(30 degrees 1) = 16.1 x 10(-4), A(22 degrees 1) = (132 +/- 7) x 10(-4), A(14 degrees 1) = (131 +/- 7) x 10(-4), A(06 degrees 1) = 14.5 x 10(-4); A (00 degrees 3) = 0.046 +/- 0.002 in units of cm(-2) atm(-1) at 273 degrees K. Values refer to normal composition CO(2) and include contributions from the weak underlying bands.
