Abstract

PURPOSE

To evaluate the clinical value of 3DX CT in the diagnosis and treatment of unerupted and impacted teeth.

METHODS

Eighty-four unerupted and impacted teeth from 66 patients were examined with cone beam CT, and 3-dimentional image was obtained for analysis.

RESULTS

The 3DX CT image could clearly demonstrate the location of the unerupted and impacted teeth in the bone,including the labial or palatal location ,crown, root and the relationship between the impacted teeth and adjacent important structures.

CONCLUSION

3DX CT can be applied before surgical and orthodontic treatment.

摘要

目的

评估三维锥束CT在未萌出及阻生牙诊断和治疗中的临床价值。

方法

对66例患者的84颗未萌出及阻生牙进行锥形束CT检查,获取三维图像进行分析。

结果

三维锥束CT图像能清晰显示未萌出及阻生牙在颌骨内的位置,包括唇腭侧位置、牙冠、牙根以及阻生牙与相邻重要结构的关系。

结论

三维锥束CT可应用于外科手术和正畸治疗前。
