Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery prepares path to the 21st century.

Moving toward the close of one century provides an opportunity to reflect on the past while planning for the future. Much has been written about the year 2000. The 21st century, the year 2000, has a magical sound, one that challenges everyone to think deeply and plan better. This special issue of The New York State Dental Journal provides its readers with a chance to take stock of the dental schools in the state.
