The Optical Alignment Facility at Goddard Space Flight Center has undergone significant evolution since it was last described in 1968. This evolution has affected the hardware as well as the software involved in making alignment measurements. The data analysis procedures have been brought to the point of being done on a desktop computer with turnaround times of approximately 4 h. Arbitrary coordinate transformations and corrections for facility errors are also possible while retaining absolute accuracies of <6 sec of arc.
