This paper addresses the role of parents as contributing members of their children's educational team. The effect of parental involvement on academic success is investigated from primary through secondary school levels. Research has repeatedly demonstrated the connection between family and achievement, and this paper supports the premise that parental involvement plays a critical role in children's academic success.
