A multifunctional precision attachment used in a fixed partial denture with questionable prognosis enhances the serviceability of the reconstruction. In the treatment presented, future loss of the posterior abutments will not jeopardize the complete rehabilitation. Osseointegrated implants used in conjunction with a fixed prosthesis or a removable partial denture can restore the missing segments.
