Arteriovenous malformation (AVM) of the mandible is relatively rare, and is often treated by resection of the mandible. We describe embolisation followed by removal of the buccal cortical plate, which was later replaced. This way the original mandibular architecture was preserved while the morbidity associated with resection was prevented.
下颌骨动静脉畸形（AVM）相对少见，常采用下颌骨切除术进行治疗。我们描述了先进行栓塞，然后去除颊侧皮质骨板，之后再进行置换的方法。通过这种方式，在防止与切除术相关的发病率的同时，保留了下颌骨的原始结构。
