Abstract
The fourth part of a treatise on a viatorium medico-historicum dealing with the region of Saxony-Anhalt takes us through the Saale district and several neighbouring areas. Important points from the history of medicine and natural sciences were presented. Life and work of personalities who were born in the region or were at work here were described.
