Abstract

Compartment syndrome in the leg after open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of ankle fractures is rare. Compartment syndrome in the foot after ORIF of ankle fractures has not been reported before. A high degree of vigilance must be exercised when managing these fractures in order to avoid complications and morbidity. We report a case in which a bimalleolar fracture of the left ankle resulted in compartment syndrome of the foot.

小腿骨折切开复位内固定（ORIF）后发生间隔综合征较为罕见，而踝关节骨折 ORIF 后足部发生间隔综合征此前尚未报道。在处理这些骨折时必须保持高度警惕，以避免并发症和发病率。我们报告了 1 例左踝关节双踝骨折导致足部间隔综合征的病例。
