[Extragastrointestinal stromal tumor--diagnostic difficulty in a case review].

A case review describing a patient repeatedly examined for animization, resulting from a large, rapidly growing extragastrointestinal tumor associated with an abscess. Due to the tumor location, standard examination procedures failed to detect it, which had a significant impact on the patient's prognosis due to its malignant potential in the stage presenting with overt clinical symptoms.
