[Plastic surgery using skin and adipose tissue flaps in burns and their sequelae].

The principles of cutaneous plasty in IV degree burns with uncovering, or primary death of the deep structures (tendons, bone, joints) are substantiated. The necessity and possibility to perform early plasty with fatty-cutaneous flaps irrespective of character of the inflammatory process and degree of microbial contamination of the wounds are proved; peculiarities of its different methods (use of interpolated and sliding flaps, Filatov's graft, "Italian plasty", dermotension, plasty with the pedicle graft, free transfer of the fatty-cutaneous flaps) are noted. On the basis of the experience with plasty of more than in 250 sufferers, the frequency of performing its separate types, effectiveness, results of social and vocational rehabilitation of the patients are presented.
