[Strongyloidiasis in Volyn Province].

82 cases of strongyloidosis have been recorded in the district over the period of 1971-1988. In 1977 an outburst of strongyloidosis was registered in a hospital for patients with chronic mental disorders. A great number of invaded patients identified accidentally during screenings suggests that the genuine infectivity of the population with strongyloidosis in Volyn Province is higher than the recorded one.
