Abstract

A patient with massive virginal breast hypertrophy is reported in this study. A 16-year-old girl presented with abnormal growth of her breasts in 1 year. Due to the enormous breast volume, which caused her physical and psychological problems, she curtailed her social life. After a thorough gynecological and breast assessment, she was referred to the plastic surgery division for breast reduction. She underwent total subcutaneous mastectomy followed by immediate breast reconstruction by subpectoral prosthesis implantation.

本研究报告了一例患有巨乳症的患者。一名16岁女孩在1年内乳房出现异常增大。由于乳房体积巨大，给她带来了身体和心理问题，她减少了社交活动。经过全面的妇科和乳房评估后，她被转诊至整形外科进行乳房缩小手术。她接受了全皮下乳房切除术，随后通过胸大肌下假体植入立即进行了乳房重建。
