Individual sensitivity of the hypothalamo-hypophyseal-thyroid system was studied in 12 patients with various degrees of euthyroid hyperplasia in the first 2 days of thyroxine therapy and during prolonged therapy. The effectiveness of thyroxine substitution therapy was compared with that of therapy with thyroid drugs in 55 patients with hypothyroidism. Euthyroid hyperplasia of III degree was accompanied by a more marked decrease in the level of TSH than in II degree, however during 3 mos. of therapy the size of the gland did not change. L-thyroxine administration for substitution therapy for 3-5 mos. was accompanied by a stable decrease in the level of TSH and improvement of clinical indices in hypothyroidism.
在12例不同程度的甲状腺功能正常性增生患者中,研究了甲状腺素治疗开始的前两天及长期治疗期间下丘脑 - 垂体 - 甲状腺系统的个体敏感性。比较了55例甲状腺功能减退患者中甲状腺素替代疗法与甲状腺药物治疗的效果。III度甲状腺功能正常性增生患者的促甲状腺激素(TSH)水平下降比II度更为明显,然而在3个月的治疗期间,腺体大小并未改变。给予左旋甲状腺素进行3至5个月的替代治疗,伴随着TSH水平的稳定下降以及甲状腺功能减退患者临床指标的改善。
