Abstract
The correct performance of injection and blood collecting techniques is of great importance in pet bird medicine. Besides general hints for carrying out the various techniques possible mistakes and their avoidance are shown by listing the steps and by photographic documentation. The correct handling of the patient is vital for the avoidance of any untoward incidents.
