With advances in neuroradiology, the number of neonates being treated with intracranial tumors is increasing. Neonatal nurses need expert knowledge and assessment skills to recognize signs and symptoms of intracranial tumors, understand treatment options, and provide nursing care to these infants. This article reviews neuroanatomy, types of intracranial tumors, diagnosis, treatment, and nursing implications for neonates with intracranial tumors.
