Many women who experience gynecologic cancer have significant sexual problems. Many of these women are currently surviving for a longer time and need to experience the best quality of life possible, including their sexual life. Sexual rehabilitation therefore must be an integral part of their treatment. This article provides a knowledge base for nurses about gynecologic site-specific concerns, including assessment techniques and interventions.
