[The physiological role and pharmacological correction of the effects of prostanoids and leukotrienes].

The biological role and pharmacological effects of prostanoids and leukotrienes are considered, the relationship with the actions of more than 80 drugs changing in this or that way their level in the organism is analysed. New substances and drugs--synthetic analogues of prostanoids and leukotrienes, blockers of their synthesis as well as activators and inhibitors of their metabolism are presented. The perspectives of their clinical use are discussed.
