To study chemical constituents of leaves from Discocleidion rufescens.
Column chromatography and spectroscapic methods were used to isolate and identify the constituents.
Fifteen compounds were isolated and identified as chrysophanol (1), physcione (2), taraxerol (3), beta-sitosterol (4), daucosterol (5), scopoletin (6), apigenin (7), acacetin-7-O-beta-D-glucoside (8), apigenin-7-O-beta-D-glucoside (9 ), luteolin (10), diosmetin-7-O-beta-D-glucoside (11), luteolin-7-O-beta-D-glucoside (12), gallic acid (13), amentoflavone (14) and myo-inositol (15).
Compounds 1, 2, 8, 11, 13 and 15 were isolated from the genus Discocleidion for the first time.

采用柱色谱法和光谱法分离鉴定化合物。
分离鉴定出15个化合物,分别为大黄酚(1)、大黄素甲醚(2)、蒲公英赛醇(3)、β-谷甾醇(4)、胡萝卜苷(5)、东莨菪素(6)、芹菜素(7)、刺槐素-7-O-β-D-葡萄糖苷(8)、芹菜素-7-O-β-D-葡萄糖苷(9)、木犀草素(10)、香叶木素-7-O-β-D-葡萄糖苷(11)、木犀草素-7-O-β-D-葡萄糖苷(12)、没食子酸(13)、穗花杉双黄酮(14)和肌醇(15)。
化合物1、2、8、11、13和15为首次从白背叶属植物中分离得到。
