[A fluorescent method for the quantitative determination of germanium in the air of a work environment].

The method is based on the fluorescent measurement of the product, of its reaction to morin in strong acid medium. The sensitivity of the method - 0.02 mg in the analysed sample and the accuracy, expressed by the coefficient of variation - 17.7%, show that the latter is adequate for the purposes of chemical and hygiene control on the air of the working environment. The presence of aluminium, beryllium, lead, potassium in the examined air don't stand on the way of determining the concentration of germanium.
