Possibilities of an application for a patent abroad in foreign countries are discussed concerning monoclonal antibodies which will have good chances as diagnostics in future. To obtain firmly patent rights, prerequisites as sufficient explanation of the invention, novelty and inventive accomplishment as well as a survey of the intensity of application are given.
