By means of the presentation of several cases of Stylohyoid Complex partially or totally ossified, the authors emphasize in the necessity to have in mind this diagnosis in every patient with craniofacial pains, although it is in sometimes a casual radiological finding in a asymptomatic patient. The normal exploration of the tonsillar area and the reproduction of the symptoms are the more secure and faster diagnosis methods which are, ratified by radiological systems.
通过展示几例茎突舌骨复合体部分或完全骨化的病例，作者强调，对于每一位患有颅面部疼痛的患者都必须考虑到这一诊断，尽管它有时是在无症状患者中偶然的放射学检查发现。对扁桃体区域的常规检查以及症状的再现是更可靠、更快捷的诊断方法，这些方法得到了放射学系统的认可。
