All materials of 14 cases of mural ameloblastoma from 1968 to 1987 in our hospital were reviewed and pathologic characteristics of the tumor were suggested. The mural ameloblastoma may be classified into three categories: (1) inside of cyst; (2) inside of wall and (3) mixed type. Their representations were plexiform, follicular and mixed type in histopathology. The pathologic classification is of value on choice of clinical therapy and prognosis. The tumor recurs readily after simple curettage.
回顾了我院1968年至1987年14例壁性成釉细胞瘤的所有资料，并提出了该肿瘤的病理特征。壁性成釉细胞瘤可分为三类：（1）囊内型；（2）壁内型；（3）混合型。其组织病理学表现为丛状型、滤泡型和混合型。病理分类对临床治疗方案的选择和预后判断有重要价值。该肿瘤单纯刮除术后易复发。
