During one year investigations were made in the city of Kassel to collect data on respiratory diseases, immission rates and climate. The frequency of disease was registered by doctors and parents. All of them prepared daily lists. Parallel immission and climatic conditions were measured. From this a typical annual variation was found that governed the influence of weather and air pollution in disease. Moreover, through daily interpretation more detailed results the connection between disease rates and air pollution could be found, even throughout the city.
