The author reviews her experience gained in follow-up of 143 patients, divided into 5 groups, carried out at a dermatology room of a central district hospital in a rural region from 1980 through 1986. Favorable results were achieved in 4/5 of these patients; temporary invalidity was essentially reduced and the index of cure was increased from 10 to 48%.
