Colorectal carcinoma in pediatric population is relatively rare (<1% of all cancers in first two decades) and behaves aggressively as compared with the same in adult population. We report a case of 11-year-old adolescent male, who presented with pain abdomen and melena. Fine-needle aspiration cytology from the growth in rectum revealed mucinous adenocarcinomas, which was later confirmed on histopathology. The patient also had positive peritoneal fluid cytology.
小儿结直肠癌相对少见（在前二十年所有癌症中占比不到1%），且与成人结直肠癌相比侵袭性更强。我们报告一例11岁青春期男性患者，该患者表现为腹痛和黑便。直肠肿物的细针穿刺细胞学检查显示为黏液腺癌，随后经组织病理学确诊。该患者的腹腔积液细胞学检查也呈阳性。
