A 4-fold increase in chromosomal rearrangement and a 5-fold increase in polychromatophilic erythrocytes with micronuclei were registered in the bone marrow of wild mice caught in the cotton fields with intensive application of various pesticides. An inhibition of erythroid cell differentiation as against the laboratory ones was noted as well.
