Both examination of trigeminal somatosensory evoked potentials and testing trigeminal nerve involvements associated with various neurological diseases make it possible to objectively measure the sensitivity and correlation of clinical symptomatology with the electrophysiological parameters. This procedure is described as applied to patients with essential trigeminal neuralgia and the effect of retrogasserian thermocoagulation upon the studied parameters is analyzed.
三叉神经体感诱发电位检查以及检测与各种神经系统疾病相关的三叉神经受累情况，使得客观测量临床症状学与电生理参数之间的敏感性和相关性成为可能。本文描述了该方法应用于原发性三叉神经痛患者的情况，并分析了半月神经节热凝术对所研究参数的影响。
